Transport Systems

With around 120 vehicles and 350 trailers in our fleet our transport planning system had to be an accurate and reliable tool for the job. As off-the-shelf transport systems didn't allow us the flexibility we offer our customers and were limited in realistic planning modules we decided to design a system internally. We designed Opsys, our Traffic Operations Planning System. Opsys not only allows our Transport Managers and Traffic Planners to build vehicle routes accurately and efficiently but also gives our teams throughout the country a real-time view of where our vehicles are via our vehicle and trailer tracking system.

Opsys is linked into our Warehouse Management System and allows full integration with our Warehousing operation passing collection and delivery information to the Warehouse Team electronically; of-course this technology can also be linked into your own systems should this be required. With online POD viewing you can access your own POD's via the internet within hours of the delivery taking place giving you full traceability of your product. Aswell as being linked into our Warehouse Management System, Opsys is interfaced with our Accounts System that not only gives you accurate information, linked to individual deliveries but also allows you to manage and regulate your supply chain costs easily.

With a detailed and user-friendly reporting suite we offer numerous 'standard' reports however as we designed and own the software we are able to add or amend specific reports developed for your own needs.
